About The Institute
The Institute for Federal Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion [the Institute] provides on-going educational and training programs in diversity and inclusion for the Federal government and the Military. Our initiatives and programs provide the physical and virtual location for diversity practitioners and executives to preserve and enhance the mission and values of their agencies in alignment with D&I ideals and principles.
A world-class education and research-oriented organization, the Institute is host to extraordinary faculty who represent the federal government, American higher education, the non-profit and private sector. Participants seek answers to complex questions, discover new knowledge, learn to lead inclusively and prepare government agencies for the future.
The Leadership Institute, the cornerstone of the Institute convenes three times annually, offering core competencies during each session. Between sessions, participants are recommended to complete additional courses including e-Learning and personal coaching.
The Institute is presented by Georgetown University Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity, the Department of the Navy Diversity & Inclusion Management with participation by the U. S. Office of Personnel Management Office of Diversity & Inclusion.
